Horror movies are all about pushing boundaries, taking audiences and ratings boards to the very limit of what they can stomach. Some films have been so hardcore that entire countries have taken steps to ban them from their theaters, in some cases making screening or possessing them a criminal act. Sometimes you can see the rationale behind a movie being banned, but not always.
